Overview

You drive successful Salesforce implementations, through all project phases such as discovery, definition, build, test and deploy. After our sales team wins a project, you become the main contact person for the client to manage their project to make sure it is delivered on-time and on-budget. You work collaboratively with our solutions consultants to ensure the implementation and delivery of optimal Salesforce Solutions. 

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the successful implementation of Salesforce projects through effective scope, timeline and budget management while ensuring that project gates and governance are properly adhered to 
  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans, RAID logs, and critical path items for all assigned initiatives 
  • Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Adaptive Agile delivery methodologies 
  • Monitor weekly/hourly project burn, track all utilization, update and manage accurate utilization, and manage capacity to keep team efficiently staffed 
  • Use a variety of delivery management tools to manage Sprint progress, Sprint reviews, Sprint retrospectives, resource capacity and Level of Effort 
  • Facilitate translation of customer needs into functional and/or technical, well-organized, documented project requirements and/or user stories as needed to support a successful project outcome 
  • Be the primary customer interface and perform project management activities that ensures adherence to Salesforce leading practice and governance 
  • Perform effective project closure activities at the completion of the project to include final billing, launch assessment readiness, customer handoff, project retrospective, and customer satisfaction survey 
  • Monitor, review and report project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as required and identify and resolve issues and risks to ensure successful project execution 
  • Collaborate and coordinate the project scope through effective change control leveraging the delivery team 
  • Manage the expectations, negotiation and communication with project key stakeholders while being responsible for all budgeting decisions associated with the projects 
  • Drive and support delivery teams in producing on-time, high quality, scalable and suitable services and deliverables 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in software development/CRM project management with a successful track record leading enterprise CRM implementations and technology initiatives 
  • Minimum of three years experience (or 8+ projects) implementing Salesforce.com and have hands on experience with configuration and customizations 
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a professional services/consulting environment 
  • 1-2 years of people management experience preferred 
  • Practical and applied knowledge of Organizational Change Management (OCM) concepts and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches 
  • Ability to balance the art and science of project management in a way that generates value for the team and for the client 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a highly responsive and honest approach to communications, and an ability to build relationships with just about anyone you encounter 
  • Familiar with relational database concepts 
  • Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities 
  • Outstanding leadership and client development skills 
  • Salesforce certifications a plus, but not required 
  • PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred 
  • PM Tool Experience: Salesforce and reporting capabilities, JIRA, Slack, MS Teams 
  • Up to 20% out-of-town travel required for this job

Pay Range

$110,000 - $144,000

Base pay ranges are estimated.  Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors.  Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
